    Hand Swage bullet tooling

    RG,

I must have been dozing not to have seen the photos of your bullet swaging operation. The hunting photos title probably slowed me down, being I'm no longer a hunter.(I know, very ironic since my job is designing mostly hunting type bullets). Your slug cutter is very interesting, did you add a one way clutch feed to it so you can feed in wire from the roll and get slugs out? The point up, core seat tooling is just as I had envisioned for the most part. Great stuff. Well it's 6 am and I need to get going to the range for some practice and testing.

Rory, thanks for the "heads-up" - I changed the title page to "huntin', shootin' and bullet making stuff"  - when I began making the album, I thought I could make several, each with a differing "theme" . . . Automating the core-cutter (yes, with a clutch type feed) remains a dream - most of the "stuff" is in some state of being made, but the finall assembly always seems to slip off into another time! ;) Good shootin'! RG
