Bench-Talk

Well as many of you know I have just completed a my first year of  Score BR shooting with VFS rifle I built. So at our last local match, where I did manage to squeeze out a 250-16X, using Speer TNT bullets, I normally shoot BIB's, (which I will continue to use) but thought I'd give some TNT's a try for the last match. Anyway there it was just laying there on a back table! FOR SALE, Yes an HBR silly 6X scoped rifle. Knowing I have said that I would never shoot a puny 6X scoped anything, I've been bit. Seems like I have no choice since our local range is NBRSA, and I've shot with those guys all year but in a seperate side class for us silly VFS rifle owners. Not to mention I was usually the only VFS shooter there, giving be a lot of wins but beating no one but myself. And I am a gracious winner even when only beating me, I never talked bad about me who in a sense was also last place most of the time too. But alas even the mighty Sampson had a weakness.

Did I mention having a 20th wedding anniversary in a few weeks help convince Bonnie, or that a lovely diamond for her gift was a great idea?

 My first time shooting at your club, will be back next year, its a great place to shoot and as always the guys there were a ton of fun. Thanks to Glen I know its always work to put on a shoot and try and shoot without being a little distracted. I know the feeling its easy to get hooked on this sport and don't cut yourself short with the 250 you are always competing against yourself in the end and sometimes thats the toughest guy to beat. I'm thinking the diamond may be a good idea , looking ahead , new brass, barrels, powder, ect. Terry M.

    I feel that shooting these 6 Power guns helps shooters be better with their Varmint class rigs.    -Al
